Where is Hotel Boltzmann located?
Hotel Boltzmann is at Boltzmanngasse 8, 1090 Vienna, in the middle of Alsergrund, Vienna's 9th district. It is a five-minute walk to the Ringstraße, one minute to the University of Vienna Faculty of Physics and twelve minutes to the Old AKH campus.
How many rooms does the hotel have and which categories are there?
The hotel has 70 rooms in four categories: single rooms, double rooms and queen-size rooms with or without balcony.
What are the rooms equipped with?
The rooms have a desk, a safe, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a minibar, and radiators and a hairdryer in the bathroom. Rooms are cleaned daily, and room service is available on request.
Is there free Wi-Fi?
Yes. High-speed Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel, including the rooms.
When is breakfast served and can outside guests have breakfast too?
We serve the breakfast buffet Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 10:00 AM and on Sundays from 7:00 to 11:00 AM, also for outside guests. There are cold and hot dishes, sweet and savory options; egg dishes are prepared fresh.
Is there a restaurant or dinner at the hotel?
The hotel serves breakfast only. We recommend restaurants, Beisln, Heurige and cafés in the neighborhood in our dining tips.
Are children and pets welcome?
Children up to 12 years stay in their parents' room free of charge. Pets are welcome: you can bring your dog or cat (price upon request).
Is an extra bed available?
In the double rooms and in the queen-size rooms with balcony we provide an extra bed on request.
Where can I park near the hotel?
There are public parking spaces on Boltzmanngasse. In front of the hotel there is also a loading zone for convenient arrival and departure, which you can use for free with the 15-minute parking ticket from the reception. In Vienna, a short-stay parking zone applies Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 10 PM.
How do I get from Vienna Airport to the hotel?
Take the CAT (City Airport Train) to Landstraße/Wien Mitte in 16 minutes, change to the U4 towards Heiligenstadt as far as Friedensbrücke, then take tram 5/33 to the Spitalgasse stop; from there it is five minutes on foot. Alternatively, the Vienna Airport Lines bus goes to Westbahnhof, from where tram 5/33 takes you to Spitalgasse.
